Who we are

Rift is a League of Legends companion: an iPhone app and a desktop app for macOS and Windows, made by Panagiotis Apostolidis. Rift isn't endorsed by Riot Games.

Questions or requests: apostolidhs@outlook.com.

What Rift stores

Sign in with Apple: the identifier Apple gives Rift for your Apple ID, and your email address if you choose to share it. Rift never sees your Apple password.

Your League account: your Riot ID (name and tag), region and Riot account identifiers, once you prove the account is yours.

Chat: your friends and groups on Rift, and the messages you send. Messages are deleted after 30 days.

Devices: an identifier for each paired phone and computer, and your phone's push notification token, so Rift can link them and notify you.

League data: match history, ranks and live game information come from Riot Games' public API and from the League client on your computer. The desktop app reads the League client and, if you allow it on macOS, the game window to recognise the augment choice. That text recognition runs on your Mac; screenshots never leave it.

What Rift doesn't do

No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and nothing is sold to anyone.

Voice chat is relayed live and never recorded.

Who else handles it

Railway hosts Rift's server and database. LiveKit relays voice chat. Expo and Apple deliver push notifications. Riot Games provides the League data.

Deleting your data

Delete your account in the app (Settings › Delete account). It removes your account, sessions, friends, requests and conversations right away. Unpairing a device removes its link. You can also email us to delete anything Rift stores about you.
